2000. 2d3 established

OMG establishes a new subsidiary, diversifying the business into software products based upon computer vision. 2d3's first product is boujou, a camera tracker aimed at the film and broadcast markets. Now used in hundreds of feature films and commercials, boujou enables animators to insert virtual objects into live action footage - a few recent credits including Benjamin Button, Tropic Thunder and the Channel 4 idents.
2001. Queen's Award

Oxford Metrics wins the Queen's Award for International Trade. Again.
2001. Oxford Metrics goes public

OMG becomes a quoted company, joining the London Stock Exchange AIM market.
2002. OMG wins Emmy

2d3 receives an Emmy Award for the contribution of boujou to the US broadcast industry.
2004. Acquisition of House of Moves

To accelerate the growth of Vicon, OMG acquires House of Moves, a Los Angeles motion capture studio.
